Lucky you! I'm moving to Micronesia for the next 27 months and this is the perfect opportunity to acquire a new penpal. Throughout my service I'll be picking up mail at the post office in Tofol. This is my permanent mailing address to which you can send letters/music/care packages/cards/inspirational quotes/funny fortune cookie fortunes:
Heather Bright, Peace Corps Volunteer
PO Box 98
Tofol, Kosrae
FSM 96944
Little did you know, the government of Micronesia is largely supported by the United States. This is actually really good because it means you can send me a flat-rate priority mail U.S. postal service box at no extra cost. As far as the postal service is concerned, FSM and Palau are considered to be part of America. To reiterate: postage should be the same as domestic mail sent within the US. This is probably something you're going to have to tell your local postman. If you're sending letters, please date and number them. This way we can see how long they take to arrive, and if they get to me out of order, I will know one is missing.
